KBUMUN

MUN (Model United Nations) is an academic simulation conference where students role-play as UN delegates to discuss global issues, enhancing their English language skills, diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking abilities. Common at both high school and university levels, this activity involves participants representing different countries. During the event, discussions are conducted in committees following actual UN procedures, and documents known as "resolutions" are prepared. Students participate as "delegates" and defend the policies of their assigned countries. The aim of this activity is to seek solutions to world problems, understand international relations, and increase critical thinking skills. It also contributes to students gaining self-confidence, developing leadership skills, practicing academic English, and building global awareness.
